My name is Jeff Lagant and thanks for visiting my website!
TLDR: I’m a french guy who likes to make stuff from his favorite universes alone in his garage.
Long version:
I’m a french guy born in the early 90’s. I grew up watching all kinds of movies, played a lot of video games and build a ton of LEGOs. Naturally, I evolved in the mechanical engineering scene where I was able to tackle all kind of challenge in manufacturing and product design during my engineer scholarship specialized in CAD design. At my old job in a small (but extremely awesome company), I was tasked to find a 3D Printer to create small tools and miniatures for architects.
That’s when I fell in love with 3D printing. I went with an Ultimaker 2 and I wasn’t disappointed. I was so pleased with it that I decided to buy one for myself to create all kind of stuff and either improve or repair stuff around the house.
Then, after playing some Mass Effect, the idea stuck: “Hey, I know how to 3d model stuff and now that I have a 3D printer, I can make it real!”
This was in 2014. 4 years later, here I am with over 50 different props made with various features (LEDs, removable mags, cocking mechanism, etc…) that helped me develop my skills as a propmaker: 3D modeling, 3D printing, post processing, painting, electronics, etc…
I’m always trying to improve myself by learning new skills, wether it be organic modeling with Zbrush, electronics for more interactive props (Arduino, Neopixels, etc…) or painting techniques (Airbrushing).
You can see most of my projects here and if you wanna know more about my future projects or so see all the WIPs, you can check my social medias where I post almost daily about what I’m working on.
I’m taking commission so if you want me to make you something, go check the commissions page for more informations.
